Here is an example of the skin writing /dermograpism that I get. This is a few minutes after scratching. The skin gets really itchy and scratching it feels sooo good!

Hi, I just recently started experiencing this. I have not been diagnosed with anything yet but i have seen the same itchy welt rash on me. I’ve had blood tests and I’ve come out to be highly allergic to dust and moderately allergic to animals eg, dogs and cats. Im using antihistamines everyday and a histamine blocker everyday prescribed by my doctor (she tells me that it could take several weeks for the reaction to get out of my system but if it doesn’t work then there is something else wrong). I’m still getting these weird rashy marks on my body especially on my hands and arms. If I get scratched then the scratch on my skin appears quite harsh and takes a while to dissapear. Tonight I have been experiencing itchy ness on my lower legs and I scratched and now I have raised bumps! I don’t understand whats going on with my skin!!

How is that going? Have you noticed any difference? I haven’t considered taking them constantly, generally only when it flairs up. I have a feeling that too much caffeine could be a slight trigger for mine….but it’s only a theory!

Did you find out?! Just recently I’ve developed the same kind of reaction to something… but my normal antihistamine isn’t working. It gets worse at Night and in the Shower! I itch all day long! And it’s driving me crazy!!! I’m going to make an appointment at a dermatologist soon… Just wondering if you’ve found out what was the cause of yours.

I find foods can be a big trigger – that mixed in with stress. Stuff that makes me worse are spicy foods along with alcohol and caffeine. I try to eat really plain foods for a couple of days and eliminate things such as garlic, onion, spice and lamb in my cooking. The best thing that worked for me was visiting a registered Chinese doctor and seeing him on a weekly basis to help to control it. Unfortunately, sometimes it just appears and I have no idea why so I try to do something that will take my mind off it. I hope you get some relief soon. Let me know what the dermatologist says.

Did you ever find out what was happening? Did anything soothe it?
